Training
We believe in lifelong learning. New sales representatives benefit from initial comprehensive training. The program includes home study, field training, and a formal in-house session that blends science with selling skills. We help all sales representatives continuously polish their skill and update their knowledge through TAP University, regularly scheduled District Meetings, and advanced sales training programs.
Sales Support
Beyond extensive training, TAP offers powerful support so that sales representatives can concentrate on their specialty—selling. Our top-notch customer service organization is available to each TAP sales representative. Experts in marketing, R&D, and customer service help identify and secure business opportunities. Additionally, sales administration specialists track performance data to help sales representatives stay on target. We also have an in-house pharmacy to serve customers efficiently.
Technology
We believe in technology and have our own intranet—"Tsunami"—to expedite communications and the transfer of information. Personal laptop computers are provided for each sales representative.
Car and Expenses
Each sales representative receives a fully equipped, late-model vehicle for business use (personal use can be arranged for a nominal charge). Vehicle and other business-related expenses are always reimbursed—and a TAP corporate credit card is provided.
Bonus
While some companies link bonus payments to group performance, TAP bases its bonuses on how well each individual performs. An "uncapped" bonus is awarded to individuals quarterly. It's just another benefit that sets TAP apart from the competition.
Recognition
Another way TAP rewards outstanding sales representatives is with prizes, trips, and monetary compensation. Peak performers are eligible for the "Excalibur Guild"—an annual program that recognizes TAP's best with special accolades and a trip to an exciting destination.
A Bright Future
Our growth since 1985 has been phenomenal. TAP's original 60-member sales force has exploded to more than 2,500 dedicated professionals. Because we are focused on continuous growth, we are able to offer genuine career path opportunities for those seeking additional responsibility. In addition to formal performance evaluations and goal setting, our Career Management Resource Guide allows sales representatives the chance to self-direct their own careers, with the full support of the organization.
TAP is an equal opportunity employer
